Ajaero was reportedly on his way to the United Kingdom to attend the Trade Union Congress (TUC) conference, which begins today.
The arrest has stirred reactions from the NLC, which confirmed the incident through a post on its official X handle, describing it as an “assault on Nigerian workers.”
The statement reads, “The assault on Nigerian workers continues.
