Presidency Empowers 1,000 Beneficiaries with ₦300,000 Each in Katsina to Boost Small Businesses
The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters has successfully implemented a major economic empowerment programme in Malumfashi and Kafur Local Government Areas of Katsina State, providing financial support to 1,000 beneficiaries.
Each beneficiary received ₦300,000 to strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises, promote financial independence, and stimulate grassroots economic activity.

The event was chaired by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Bello Masari, former Governor of Katsina State and current Chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). He praised the initiative, noting that consistent support for small businesses remains central to accelerating inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The ceremony drew several high-profile dignitaries, including Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda; Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani; Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni; Gombe State Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC); as well as senior government officials, traditional rulers, and key political stakeholders.
Speaking at the event, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters reiterated the administration’s commitment to empowering citizens, promoting self-reliance, and strengthening productive ventures across communities nationwide.
