President Tinubu extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Funke Akindele for achieving a record-setting performance in her latest film, acknowledging her as a trailblazer, contributing significantly to the industry’s growth.
The President highlights the excellence of the Nigerian creative industry, recognising its pivotal role not only as a medium for artistic expression but also as a source of substantial soft power and a viable export.

Funke Akindele’s latest offering, a movie titled: ‘A Tribe Called Judah,’ just grossed the N1b threshold in the box office. It is a first of its kind in the Nigerian Nollywood industry.
