Re- Redeployment of Engineer Kayode Ojo from Fuoye to FULOKOJA
I read with trepidation the release of one Adegbemile Babatunde Daniel on the recent deployment of Engineer Kayode Ojo, the erstwhile Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University, Oye to a sister university (Federal University of Lokoja).
The reasons for the deployment stated in the redeployment statement by the federal government in case the hired writer is not abreast of the reasons, the following extract is lifted for Mr. Adegbemile’s digest – “The strategic change is part of President Tinubu’s initiative to foster diversity and natural cohesion in the management of the country’s university ” – Bayo Onanuga
The reason for his redeployment is well stated in the above release and not capable of any other interpretation.
Reading other meanings to it is clearly evil, obnoxious, provocative, idiotic and outrageous .It is unsavory to read misconduct as a reason for the said deployment. It is indeed not unexpected that at this time people will want to do everything to fight Kayode for his audacity and effrontery to wanting to challenge their man in the 2026 APC Governorship primary Election in Ekiti State. He has not even publicly declared that intention yet, they are already being jittery and threatened. Just relax and watch events as they unfold.
The very moment I read Mr. Adegbemile’s release, it occurred to me that the deployment was incontestably an avenue for the state hitmen to unleash their lies on a man they perceive as a threat to their morbid ambition.
Trust then, they did not disappoint my expectations from them. The release was nothing but a figment of the imagination of the writer, full of lies, innuendos, unfounded rumors, evils, speculations, character assassinations and reportorial inexactitude from the pit of hell. Even If you are hired to do a hack report on a person, can’t you spare yourself on the unpleasant consequences that such job could attract to you? It is most unfortunate that people are more concerned with the brown envelopes they collect for the hatchet jobs at the expense of their integrity and family dignity.
For the avoidance of doubts, Engineer Kayode Ojo was not disgraced out of Fuoye but merely redeployed to a sister university in tandem with the policy of the government to ensure ethnical balance in line with the federal character practice in our university institutions. For goodness sake, redeployment does not in any way translate to disgrace. Engineer Kayode Ojo is a self-made person, he is larger than life. He does not rely on Government patronage for his source of sustenance, he is far removed from being an apologist of government. He lives in opulence. The last time I checked, i discover he is a Director in tons of blue-chip companies of global appeals. Where does he get the time to come and take a permanent seat at Fuoye or running the day to day administration of the university? It is unfortunate that people don’t think twice before trying to blackmail a self made person who does not in any way need government patronage to live his life to the fullest. It’s becoming more evident that Ekiti people is becoming more notorious for PULL DOWN SYNDROME. I think one of the core values of Ekiti people is integrity and not lies telling. Politics is fast losing its purpose in Ekiti as it’s fast becoming a haven for pen robbers and nobodies. It’s a Shame!
