Remain diligent, Osun Amotekun Commander, Omoyele enjoins Nigeria Peace Corps

The Corps Commander, Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Adekunle Omoyele, has urged the officers of the Nigeria Peace Corps in Osun State to be up and doing, remain hopeful and diligent to their day to day activities.
Dr Omoyele gave this advice while speaking at a 3-day seminar organized by the Nigeria Peace Corps, Osun State Command to orientate the officers on their duty post.
The Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, commended the Corps for safeguarding schools in the state against attacks and urged them to remain hopeful and diligent in their duties, as their rewards remain nearer to them.
Dr Omoyele reiterated Amotekun’s commitment to collaborating with other security organizations to address the security situation in Osun State.
The Security guru, praised Governor Ademola Adeleke for his interest and unloved support to the state security services as well as his adequate support to the Nigeria Peace Corps Osun Command.
The Corps Commander emphasized the importance of community policing, stating that conventional security agencies cannot combat crime alone but require grassroots security collaborations.
The Osun Amotekun boss, advised the Peace Corps not to lose hope, as their work is noticed and valued.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Commandant, Peace Corps Osun State Command, Dr. Ayinde Paul Kayode, commended Dr Omoyele for his support and kindness towards the Corps.
He expressed readiness to collaborate with Amotekun in all local governments area of the state to curb criminal activities in Osun particularly in the safe school project initiated by Governor Adeleke of the state.
Dr Kayode appreciated Omoyele’s support for the Corps’ progress and upliftment, praying for his continued success in his new assignment.
