Reward system a motivation for security personnel —Buratai
By Matthew Atungwu
Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai (Rtd.), a former Chief of Army Staff, has urged the federal government to establish a national security agent award programme.
Gen Buratai made this call on Sunday at OurNigeria News Magazine award in Abuja.
He said that doing this would ensure that the nation’s security forces are highly motivated and performing at their highest level.
The former Army Chief continued by saying that security forces would be more devoted and loyal if a reward system was in place, and that this was necessary to both solve insecurity and advance the country.
