Saudi Arabia Approves NAHCON Medical Facilities for 2026 Hajj
The Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia has approved the clinics and medical outposts established by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to provide healthcare services for Nigerian pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj exercise.
According to a statement issued by the NAHCON management in Makkah on Monday, the approval grants the commission’s medical teams official authorisation to begin healthcare operations for pilgrims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The commission said the approval is part of ongoing preparations to ensure the health and wellbeing of Nigerian pilgrims throughout the Hajj period.
The licensed facilities are expected to provide medical consultations, emergency care, and other healthcare support services for pilgrims during their stay in the holy land.
NAHCON noted that the development reflects the strong cooperation between Nigerian and Saudi authorities in ensuring a smooth and safe Hajj exercise for pilgrims from Nigeria.
