Tinubu Meets Saudi Ambassador, Reaffirms Nigeria–Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Friday received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria and Special Envoy of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, His Excellency Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Balawi, shortly after Jumu’ah prayers at the Presidential Villa Mosque in Abuja.
The warm interaction underscored the longstanding friendship and growing strategic partnership between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as both countries continue to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting reflected the cordial diplomatic relations between Abuja and Riyadh and reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to deepening bilateral ties for the benefit of their peoples.
Also present at the Jumu’ah prayers were the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, alongside other senior government officials.
The engagement highlights the Tinubu administration’s continued efforts to enhance Nigeria’s diplomatic relations and expand strategic partnerships with key allies across the Middle East and beyond.
