Tinubu Set for Imminent Cabinet Reshuffle Amidst Public Pressure

By Matthew Eloyi

The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu is poised to carry out a cabinet reshuffle “any moment from now.”

This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, during a briefing with State House correspondents on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

While Onanuga could not confirm whether the reshuffle would take place before October 1, he emphasised that it is expected to happen soon.

“I’m not sure of the exact date, but it could be any time,” he stated.

President Tinubu appointed his current ministers in August last year, but mounting pressure from members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the public has spurred calls for a reshuffle.

Many have criticised the performance of certain ministers, urging the President to inject new energy into his cabinet to improve governance.

As anticipation builds, the nation watches closely for the President’s next move to address concerns over ministerial performance and meet the demands for better leadership.
