TORQ Agro to Build $3.5m Integrated Poultry Farm, Hatchery in Katsina
TORQ Agro has announced plans to establish a $3.5 million (≈₦5 billion) integrated poultry farm and hatchery on a 10-hectare site in Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The project, designed to boost food production and create jobs in the region, will feature modern facilities for large-scale poultry farming, hatchery operations, and value-chain processing.
Governor Dikko Umar Radda is expected to perform the official groundbreaking ceremony on November 27, marking the commencement of one of the state’s notable agribusiness investments.
The initiative is projected to support local farmers, strengthen livestock supply for the North-West region, and contribute to Katsina’s broader agricultural development agenda.
