Troops Heroically Rescue Kidnapped Victims in Taraba State
In a daring operation, troops from the 114 Battalion (Rear) of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army based in Jalingo successfully rescued three individuals who had been kidnapped by bandits in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Acting on intelligence regarding the movement of the bandits with their victims from Ardo-Kola to Yoro, the troops deployed in Apawa village of Yoro Local Government Area swiftly mobilised to the area, trailing the armed group.
With exceptional skill and determination, the troops engaged the criminals, employing superior firepower. The intensity of the confrontation forced the bandits to abandon their three abducted victims. We are pleased to report that the rescued individuals have been safely reunited with their families as the troops continue their pursuit of the kidnappers.
