Turkish Couple Turns Wedding Celebration into Feast for 4,000 Syrian Refugees
In a remarkable act of generosity, Fethullah Üzümcüoğlu and Esra Polat, a couple from Kilis, Turkey, chose to use their wedding day to support those in need. Instead of hosting a traditional lavish reception, the newlyweds redirected their wedding budget to provide meals for around 4,000 Syrian refugees living in challenging conditions near the Syrian border.
The idea came from the groom’s father, who suggested transforming the celebration into a meaningful act of kindness. Initially surprised, the bride embraced the concept, recognizing its profound impact.
