TY Buratai Foundation Honours AIG Benneth Igweh for Outstanding Contributions to National Security, Community Welfare

The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation has announced its intention to honour Mr. Benneth Igweh, the newly promoted Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police and Federal Capital Territory’s Police Commissioner, for his exceptional service to national security and community welfare.

During a reception held at the Bolton White Hotels to celebrate his decoration by the Inspector General of Police, the Foundation’s Chairman, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, presented a congratulatory message acknowledging Igweh’s dedication, leadership, and exemplary service within the Nigeria Police Force. Danfulani highlighted Igweh’s strategic approach to policing, which has significantly enhanced public trust in law enforcement.

The Grand Patron of the TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation, His Excellency Amb Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai (Rtd), also commended Igweh for his steadfast commitment to duty and public service. The Foundation announced that Igweh will receive an Award of Excellence as ICON OF PEACE, recognizing his impactful efforts in fostering a secure environment for all.

In response, AIG Igweh expressed his gratitude to the Foundation for the prestigious recognition and pledged to continue making significant contributions to humanity. He also urged law-abiding citizens to remain vigilant and provide the Police with valuable intelligence to aid in their efforts, emphasizing his willingness to listen to constructive advice.

The event celebrated Igweh’s well-deserved promotion, which attests to his dedication to maintaining law and order in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing security and fostering community resilience.
