The political mobilisation platform championed by former Zamfara State governor and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, has received a major boost as about 1,500 support groups within the All Progressives Congress (APC) endorsed the Renewed Hope Network (TRN).

The endorsement signals growing nationwide support for the platform established to mobilise grassroots backing for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The decision followed a strategic meeting in Abuja between the APC Support Groups Council and the technical team of the Renewed Hope Network, led by prominent APC mobiliser, Comr. Okpokwu Ogenyi and international diplomat, Prof. Tunji John Asaolu.

Deputy Director General of the APC Support Groups Council, AK Peters, said the endorsement reflects growing confidence in Senator Yari’s leadership and the strategic direction of the Renewed Hope Network.

Under Yari’s guidance, the network has begun early groundwork for nationwide mobilisation, including the recruitment of polling unit canvassers across the country.

The initiative aims to build an extensive grassroots structure ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.

“The TRN is committed to building the most formidable grassroots political movement in support of Mr. President within a very short time while networking every corner of the Country. In APC, we have over three thousand five hundred (3,500) registered support groups out of which one thousand five hundred (1,500) have approved partnership with the RenewedHope Network, TRN. We are confident that another 2,000 groups will join the network between now and Easter,” Ak Peters stated.

Observers within the ruling party say the rapid expansion of the Renewed Hope Network highlights Senator Yari’s continuing influence in grassroots political mobilisation and his role in consolidating support for President Tinubu ahead of the next presidential contest.
