Yuletide – Be united, group charges Igbomina indigenes

The President of ASEPO OMO IGBOMINA, a Socio-Cultural Organisation in Osun State, Pastor Olalekan Osundina has called upon the Igbomina indigenes at home and in the diaspora to be more united with the quest for the leadership of the Organisation in promoting the education, socio-economic and cultural advancement of Igbomina people.
Pastor Osundina made the call in his Christmas and New Year goodwill message to the people of Igbomina land in a Press statement by the Public Relations officer of the Organisation, Prince Adebisi Popoola and made available to our Correspondent in Osogbo the Osun State capital.
He reiterated the commitment of the Organisation to the upliftment of the standard of living of the people and promoting the Igbomina dialect as a unifying factor.
Pastor Osundina appealed to the indigenes of Igbomina land to be proud of their culture and traditional value system as a way of life.

The President also commended the traditional rulers on Igbomina land for their unflinching support and valuable contributions towards achieving the aims and objectives of the organisation. He solicited more support from the Royal Fathers and the people of Igbomina land in the coming years.
Meanwhile, Pastor Osundina admonished the five-member programme advisory Committee of the Organisation to produce a well-articulated and result-oriented programme of activities for the next fiscal year.
The five-member committee was headed by Prince Adebisi Popoola, the Public Relations Officer of the Organisation while other members include, the General Secretary, Chief Layi Ogundele, Mrs. Abigael Adeoye, Elder Wale ARE and Alhaji Raimi Adewumi.
It would be recalled that the ASEPO OMO IGBOMINA, a socio-cultural Organisation was established to promote peace, progress, unity, and cooperation with the rank and file of Igbominas and other ethnic groups in Nigeria with a view to promoting the interest of Igbomina people and preserve their traditional and moral values.
