Zulum Approves ₦706.6m Scholarship Fund for Civilian JTF Orphans, Other Students
Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, has approved the sum of ₦706,594,787.50 for the payment of scholarships to orphans of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) as well as other categories of students studying within Nigeria and abroad.

The gesture is part of the governor’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and providing opportunities for vulnerable children affected by insurgency in the state. According to government officials, the scholarship covers tuition, allowances, and other academic needs to ensure beneficiaries can continue their studies without financial barriers.
The state government noted that the initiative reflects Zulum’s long-standing dedication to human capital development and the empowerment of youths across Borno State.
