Buratai’s Nomination as Ambassador is a Good Development
The Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa said that the nomination of Lt General Tukur Yusufu Buratai (Rtd) and other Service Chiefs as non-career ambassadors is a welcome development.
This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Newsmen in Abuja on Sunday by Dr Abubakar Mohammed Sani Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation
“General Buratai has spent the best part of his life in offering Services to his fatherland, I know he is not tired. His nomination as ambassador-designate by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR comes at the right time and well deserved to be appreciated,” said Dr Dikwa.
Dr Dikwa went on to wish General Buratai success in his new national assignment. ” I am wishing him success and Allah’s guidance in his new assignment as a diplomat. This is an entirely new terrain but I am confident that he will discharge his duties and responsibilities efficiently, given his track records of successes, said Dr Dikwa.
The President and Founder Al-Ansar Foundation gave the remarks to felicitate with General Buratai at a dinner organised in his honour by the 29 Regular Course, his course mates at the Nigerian Defense Academy.
