Guber Poll: David Mark urges stakeholders, INEC on credible poll
Senator David Mark, a former Senate president, has advised all parties involved in the election process to avoid using any unethical tactics so that the outcomes would accurately reflect the preferences of the electorate.
After voting in Otukpo, Benue State, with his wife Helen, Senator Mark encouraged the Independent National Electoral Commission and security personnel to make sure that the results accurately reflected the votes cast by the voters in response to inquiries from reporters.
The process has been peaceful thus far, Senator Mark remarked, adding that “all Nigerians seek a peaceful election to bring in a new administration.”

He said, “Let the will of the people prevail. So far, the process has been smooth and orderly here in my area. I hope the process will continue seamlessly throughout the country.”
Senator Mark added that a free and fair election would guarantee a peaceful society which would ultimately engender progress in the country.
