Northeast Star reshuffles board, appoints Ms Hauwa
The Northeast Star magazine has appointed Ms Hauwa Esthon as a member of its Editorial Board. The appointment of the holder of a BSc in Social Works and Administration was announced by the management on Friday.
Ms Esthon is the CEO of Biyasina Ventures, the makers of Snow Toilet paper in Adamawa state. She was the winner of the magazine’s 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year.
The new board member is alumni of Clark Atlanta University USA. She also has certification from Allen Entrepreneurship Institute USA in 2018 and Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Clark Atlanta University.
The new appointee is also a member of Young African Leaders Initiative (Yali) Mandela Washington Fellowship 2018.
Ms Esthon is a business coach, global speaker on entrepreneurship and mentorship. She has also mentored students, youth, and internally displaced persons in her community and beyond.
