Ajiyan Gombe’s demise an unforgettable loss – Mailantarki
The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) governorship candidate in Gombe state Khamisu Mailantarki has said the demise of Gombe emirate Council kingmaker Alhaji Haruna Abdullahi (Ajiya Gombe) will remain an unforgettable event in the state.
Mailantarki in his condolence message issued made available to Newsmen in Gombe on Thursday, said Haruna Abdullahi who doubled as Ajiyan Gombe and district head of Kwami was a great traditional icon that contributed immensely towards building peace and promoting harmonious co-existence among the residents of his district and the state at large.
“The passing away of the traditional leader is a huge loss to Kwami local government and Gombe state because he was an iconic figure and revered leader who rendered selfless service to humanity throughout his reign.
“Late Haruna Abdullahi has left behind huge vacuum in the state as everyone is going to miss his fatherly guidance and counsels”. He said.
