Gov Mohammed Hails President Tinubu’s Security Boost in Alkaleri

Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for deploying robust security apparatus to tackle banditry in the troubled Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state.
He gave the commendation on Saturday during the durbur hawan duache, where the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, alongside district heads, title holders, and other traditional leaders, paid Sallah homage to the governor at the Government House, Bauchi.

Governor Mohammed said despite belonging to an opposition political party, President Tinubu demonstrated leadership and national concern by mobilising heavy security reinforcement to the crisis-prone axis.
He noted that the deployment included the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division, operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and other security agencies who worked jointly to dislodge bandits and restore peace.
“The President has shown love and care for our people. His swift intervention brought adequate security to Alkaleri and forced the bandits to flee.
“This is highly commendable, and we remain grateful,” the governor stated.
He urged traditional and religious leaders to intensify collaboration with security agencies by reporting suspicious movements and exposing informants or individuals aiding criminal elements.
According to him, community vigilance remains crucial in sustaining the gains recorded.
In his remarks, the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, praised Governor Mohammed for executing people-oriented projects across key sectors such as health, agriculture, and education.
He said the achievements have significantly improved the wellbeing of citizens.
The monarch encouraged the governor to sustain his developmental agenda and pledged the continuous support and prayers of the Bauchi Emirate Council.
