Shettima Visits City Boy Movement Headquarters, Commends Youth Support for Renewed Hope Agenda

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the National Secretariat of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Abuja, where he commended the contributions of Nigerian youths to the implementation of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The visit came shortly after his renomination as the vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general election, reaffirming his continued engagement with party stakeholders and youth groups.

The Vice President was received by the Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom; the movement’s Patron, Barrister Seyi Tinubu; Co-Patron, Shettima Kashim Shettima (Amir); the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga; members of the National Working Committee, and other youth leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Shettima praised the commitment and patriotism of young Nigerians, describing organised youth participation as a vital driver of national development and democratic consolidation.

He emphasised that the active involvement of young people remains essential to achieving the objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in promoting inclusive governance, economic growth and sustainable national progress.

The Vice President encouraged youths to remain actively engaged in nation-building and continue supporting initiatives aimed at creating a more prosperous, united and forward-looking Nigeria.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for discussions on youth mobilisation, leadership development and the role of young Nigerians in advancing the administration’s development agenda.
