Fire Incident Reported at Lagos International Airport Terminal 2

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed a fire incident at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Sunday morning.

In a statement issued via its official X handle, FAAN said its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service (ARFFS) was immediately deployed to the scene and is working to contain the situation.

The airport authority confirmed that no casualties or loss of life were recorded in the incident.

FAAN assured members of the public that further updates would be provided as more information becomes available.

The Authority also urged the public to rely on official communication for accurate information regarding the incident.
