Speaking at a recent gathering, Ambassador Kouyateh said he draws inspiration from the greatness of Africa and emphasized that the continent’s potential can only be realized if African nations and peoples unite.
“We must be inspired by Africa’s history, culture, and wealth of talent,” he said. “Unity, self-reliance, and resilience are not just ideals—they are essential for Africa to rise and achieve lasting prosperity.”
The Ambassador urged governments, institutions, and citizens alike to focus on empowering local industries, investing in education, and building systems that strengthen the continent from within, rather than relying on external support.
“True development comes when Africans take ownership of their destiny,” Kouyateh added. “Africa must rise, and we all have a role to play in making this vision a reality.”
