A 19-year-old man, Fawaz Oyedeji, has been sentenced to four years in prison in the United Kingdom following his involvement in an attempted armed robbery of a luxury vehicle in London.
According to the Metropolitan Police, Oyedeji posed as an online buyer interested in purchasing a Porsche Cayenne valued at £72,500.
During the arranged meeting with the vehicle’s owner, he allegedly threatened the victim with an imitation firearm and demanded the keys to the car.
However, the vehicle owner resisted the attack, forcing Oyedeji to flee the scene without the car.
Following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police, Oyedeji was arrested, prosecuted and subsequently sentenced to four years’ imprisonment for his role in the attempted robbery.
