Africa, Nigeria Set To Benefit From Kaduna’s Beach Soccer Facility – Hadejia

The Coordinator of the Nigeria Beach Soccer Association and President African Beach Soccer Union, Mahmud Hadejia said with the beach soccer facility put in place by the Kaduna State Government at Murtala Square, Nigeria and Africa are set to brace up and shine in the game.
Mr Hadejia expressed this while fielding questions from newsmen at the end of the maiden Nigeria Beach Soccer Super 4, decided at the Murtala Square, Kaduna on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

“His Excellency, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has done well, by providing this world-class facility here in Murtala Square.
“We have never had it this good in Nigeria or Africa. Everyone here, families and others, even the media is excited,” he said.
Hadejia explained that the competition started in Lagos in April, with the climax in Kaduna.
“A lot has been said before we came in here, but everything has been held in a peaceful manner. We have been telling people that Kaduna is safe.
“We have teams from Kebbi, Lagos, Kwara and Kaduna,” he added. On the challenges faced, he thanked God that they were surmounted.
“We must thank God for giving us the opportunity in this situation of COVID-19 and others to host such a major competition in Kaduna which is a national final,” he stressed.
He said a conducive platform has been created for players by the Beach Soccer Association, in collaboration with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to bring players together.

“We are united here as one Family. I cannot but commend everyone for making it a huge success,” he said.
