Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Longtime Partner Georgina Rodríguez in Intimate Portugal Ceremony
Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, have reportedly exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in Portugal.
The couple were married on August 11 2026 in the Portuguese resort town of Cascais, according to representatives of the football superstar.
Ronaldo appeared to confirm the marriage on social media by sharing a photograph of the couple’s hands displaying their wedding rings, accompanied by the simple caption: “C&G.” The post quickly attracted more than three million likes within 30 minutes, reflecting the enormous global interest in the couple.
The private ceremony was attended by the couple’s five children, according to the Brunswick Group, with the event described as a small and intimate celebration surrounded by family.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together for about 10 years, having first met in Madrid, Spain, when Rodríguez was working at a Gucci store. At the time, Ronaldo was playing for Spanish football giants Real Madrid.
Their relationship has since grown into a family life shared largely in the public eye, with Rodríguez frequently supporting Ronaldo at major moments in his football career.
The reported wedding marks a new chapter for the couple, who have built a life together over the past decade while raising their children and navigating the global spotlight that comes with Ronaldo’s status as one of football’s most recognisable stars.
