U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Brianna Ralston, a loadmaster with the 16th Airlift Squadron, is demonstrating resilience and dedication to duty as she adapts to new responsibilities following an injury.

Although the injury has shifted her focus towards supporting operations behind the scenes, Ralston remains committed to the mission while recovering and developing her professional skills.

During her recovery, she continues to attend online college, serve as a physical training leader and suicide prevention instructor, and mentor fellow service members.

Her continued involvement highlights the importance of adaptability, professional development and teamwork in maintaining operational effectiveness, even when personnel face unexpected setbacks.

The U.S. Air Force said the commitment of Airmen at JBLG reflects their determination to accomplish the mission despite challenges.
