Nigeria, Bangladesh Move to Deepen Cooperation in Arts, Culture, Tourism, Creative Economy
The Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has held discussions with a delegation from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on strengthening cooperation between both countries in the areas of arts, culture, tourism and the creative economy.
The discussions focused on the development of a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding collaboration in cultural diplomacy, film, fashion, tourism, gastronomy and other sectors of the creative economy.
According to the Minister, a joint working committee has been constituted to review the existing framework and develop a clear roadmap for implementing the renewed partnership.
Musawa expressed optimism that the collaboration would create new opportunities for cultural exchange, investment and creative partnerships between Nigeria and Bangladesh.
She said the partnership would further strengthen bilateral relations and unlock new avenues for cooperation across the creative and tourism sectors of both countries.
