NTA Zonal Director Seeks Support For Nigerian Army

The Zonal Director, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Network Centre, Port Harcourt, Dr (Mrs) Evelyn Nwosu, has sought for more support for the Nigerian Army.
She stated this on Thursday when she paid a courtesy call on the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 6 Division, Nigerian Army/Land Component Commander, Joint Task Force, South-South, Operation DELTA SAFE, Major General Jamal Abdussalam in Port Harcourt, Barracks, Rivers State.
She added that the Division should keep helping when necessary and expressed her special gratitude to the GOC for responding to their request so quickly.
She expressed gratitude to the GOC for the cordial welcome she and her team received, saying they are honored by the work the NA is doing for the country.
The GOC thanked them for their visit in his reply. He nostalgically reminisced on how NTA, an antiquated television network, had influenced, amused, informed, and educated countless Nigerians from birth to the present.

He conveyed assurance that the visit would strengthen the already strong bond between the NTA and NA.
Major General Abdussalam also expressed his delight to the NTA, for believing that the NA can also extend hands of friendship outside military activities.
He assured them of the 6 Division’s support and cordial relationship. He added that the joint environment as encapsulated in the Chief of Army Staff’s Command Philosophy does not only connote the sister security agencies but also other government agencies like the NTA.
The General Officer additionally declared that the Division’s donation to NTA is a component of the NA’s efforts to promote Civil-Military Cooperative Relations.
He continued by saying that the NTA, a Federal Government agency, is an essential national institution that requires assistance from the NA since it aids in the battle against crime, insecurity, and vandalism.
He committed to keeping the network center’s ability to carry out its duties successfully.
