PGF Hosts 2026 Renewed Hope Ambassadors Strategic Summit in Abuja
The Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) on February 24 2026 convened its 2026 Renewed Hope Ambassadors Strategic Summit at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, bringing together key stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The summit, organised under the chairmanship of the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, was attended by governors, federal and state lawmakers, party leaders, and other critical stakeholders across the country.
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the high-level gathering.
Themed “Taking Renewed Hope to the Grassroots,” the summit is designed to strengthen unity, inclusiveness, and strategic coordination within the party across federal, state, and local levels. It also seeks to deepen grassroots mobilisation and promote awareness of the administration’s achievements since 2023.
Participants at the summit — including parliamentarians, governors, and party leaders — reaffirmed their collective commitment to advancing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. They pledged to continue working collaboratively to address national challenges and reposition Nigeria on the path of prosperity and sustainable progress.
In his remarks, the Vice President underscored the importance of consolidating ongoing reforms and enhancing citizen engagement at the grassroots. He is expected to spotlight the nationwide impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in the areas of economic reforms, infrastructure development, and social intervention programmes.
Organisers noted that the summit provides a strategic platform for governors and stakeholders to align policy direction, consolidate gains, and strengthen coordination in communicating government initiatives to Nigerians.
The forum concluded with a renewed call for party faithful and citizens to actively participate in efforts aimed at restoring growth, stability, and shared prosperity across the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
