Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema made a striking appearance today at Milan Fashion Week, taking the runway for Diesel’s Autumn/Winter 2026 show.

The show, orchestrated by creative director Glenn Martens, was staged as a “good walk of shame” inside a stark white warehouse in Milan. A “vault” of 50,000 archival artifacts created a chaotic, memory-laden backdrop, bringing Diesel’s past, present, and future into sharp focus.

Rema, returning to the runway after previous stints with brands like 424, brought his unmistakable edge to the collection. He donned heavily distressed denim paired with a metallic gold vest featuring a shearling collar—a bold statement that encapsulated the collection’s experimental ethos.

The AW26 lineup featured pantaboots, sheer floral-splashed dresses, crinkled textures, and reflective denim, pushing conventional boundaries and celebrating Diesel’s legacy in an avant-garde context.

Fashion and music outlets, including Dazed and Rolling Stone Africa, praised Rema’s appearance as a cultural crossover, blending the global Afrobeats movement with high fashion.

By commanding the runway with both charisma and style, Rema continues to cement his place as a creative force bridging music, fashion, and global influence.
