Saudi Arabia Unveils Jaumur, Futuristic Luxury Marina Community Under NEOM Project
Saudi Arabia is advancing plans for Jaumur, a luxury waterfront destination that forms part of the Kingdom’s ambitious NEOM mega-project along the Gulf of Aqaba.
Designed as a futuristic marina community where land and sea seamlessly connect, Jaumur will feature a striking 1.5-kilometre aerofoil-inspired structure that will shelter one of the region’s largest superyacht marinas. The project supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy aimed at diversifying the economy, boosting tourism and attracting international investment.
According to the master plan, Jaumur is expected to accommodate more than 6,000 residents. The development will include approximately 500 luxury marina apartments, nearly 700 waterfront villas with private moorings, and two luxury hotels offering about 350 rooms and suites.
The destination is being designed to provide a premium lifestyle centred on yachting, waterfront living, hospitality, sports and entertainment, while combining advanced architecture with the natural beauty of the Red Sea coastline.
Jaumur joins other landmark developments under the NEOM initiative, including The Line, Oxagon and Trojena, all of which aim to redefine urban living through innovative design and sustainable infrastructure.
Although the broader NEOM project has faced scrutiny over its timelines, scale and implementation, Jaumur remains one of its flagship luxury developments, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s long-term vision of creating world-class coastal destinations.
