Tension as Youths Confront Hausa Actor Musa Mai Sana’a Over Tinubu Campaign in Katsina
Tension briefly erupted in Dandagoro, Katsina metropolis, after a group of youths confronted Hausa actor Musa Mai Sana’a at the “Welcome to Katsina” gate following his arrival in the area.
The incident reportedly occurred after the actor began promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, prompting some of the youths to object and demand that he stop the political message.
According to reports, the youths warned the actor, saying, “This is not a place to campaign for Bola,” before the situation became heated.
Some of the youths reportedly attempted to confront the actor physically, but security personnel quickly intervened and escorted him away from the scene to prevent the situation from escalating.
Musa Mai Sana’a was subsequently taken to safety, with reports indicating that he left the area in haste and his cap was left behind during the incident.
The confrontation has sparked concerns over the growing tension surrounding political differences, with calls for political disagreements to be expressed peacefully rather than through violence or attacks on individuals.
Citizens have the right to support or reject any political candidate, but disagreements should be settled through dialogue and, ultimately, at the ballot box—not through intimidation or physical confrontation.
