Tinubu Swears In New IGP, RMAFC, FCSC Commissioners at FEC Meeting

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where the newly appointed Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, was formally sworn into office.

The brief swearing-in ceremony took place ahead of the FEC deliberations, marking the official commencement of duties for the new police chief.

President Tinubu also administered the oath of office to newly appointed commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the administration to strengthen key institutions and enhance governance across sectors.

The FEC meeting subsequently proceeded with discussions on policy matters and national priorities.
