In a major breakthrough, troops under Sector 2 deployed in Geidam, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force, engaged terrorist logistics suppliers following credible intelligence. The encounter led to the neutralisation of three insurgents and the disabling of a vehicle loaded with supplies. Items recovered included foodstuffs, mobile phones, and other materials meant for terrorist camps.

In a separate operation along the Konduga–Kawuri axis, troops ambushed insurgents attempting to plant improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The engagement triggered an explosion that killed two terrorists, while weapons and ammunition were recovered.

Troops also successfully detected and safely detonated an IED along the Ngoshe–Pulka road, averting potential casualties and ensuring safe passage for civilians.

In Adamawa State, troops under Sector 4, working with local hunters in Mubi North Local Government Area, arrested three suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP members. Preliminary investigations revealed that one of the suspects had been involved in gathering intelligence on troop movements and had participated in previous attacks.

Further operations in Mainok market led to the arrest of three logistics suppliers, with security operatives recovering livestock, mobile phones, and cash, disrupting key supply chains sustaining terrorist activities.

In Yobe State, troops intercepted a vehicle conveying suspected insurgents, two of whom had gunshot wounds believed to have been sustained during earlier clashes with security forces. Additional arrests were made involving informants and collaborators attempting to move across territories, including a foreign national apprehended under suspicious circumstances.

The military said troops have maintained aggressive operations across the theatre, significantly limiting the freedom of movement of criminal elements while sustaining high morale and operational efficiency.

The High Command commended personnel for their resilience and professionalism, urging them to sustain the momentum in ongoing operations to enhance security and stability in the North-East region.
