A video circulating on social media showing a heated exchange between a Nigerian man and police officers questioning a zobo drink seller over the NAFDAC registration of her products has sparked reactions online.
In the viral clip, the officers were seen questioning the businesswoman about the bottled zobo drinks she was selling and reportedly demanding that she provide the NAFDAC registration number and product labels.
One of the officers defended the request, insisting that the drinks were expected to carry a NAFDAC registration number.
“This thing is supposed to have NAFDAC number. Does this thing have NAFDAC number? As a police officer, don’t I have the right to ask?” the officer said.
However, a man at the scene challenged the officers, questioning their authority to demand the product’s registration details. This led to a tense exchange between him and the officers.
