APC Presents Certificates of Return to Newly Elected National Working Committee Members
The All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention committee has officially presented Certificates of Return to the newly elected members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
The presentation ceremony was led by the Chairman of the Convention Committee, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, with support from Yobe State Governor and Secretary of the Committee, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN. Both commended the NWC leadership for providing members the opportunity to serve the party and urged them to strengthen internal democracy while promoting democratic values nationwide.
APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, lauded the convention committee for organizing what he described as “the most elegant, well-structured, and dispute-free convention in Nigeria.” He noted that the convention set a high standard, free from litigation or wrangling, and praised the committee for its professionalism.
Prof. Yilwatda reaffirmed his commitment to party unity, assuring that his administration would work to stabilize the APC, expand its influence, and deepen democratic practices across the country. “We will work hard to deliver the party from the office of the President to the state Assemblies,” he said, emphasizing that all members would be carried along under his leadership.
The ceremony marks a significant step in consolidating party structures ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming electoral cycles.
