Arsenal produced one of their most dominant North London derby performances in recent years, sweeping aside Tottenham 4–1 on Sunday to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to six points.
The Gunners arrived at the Emirates hungry to make a statement — and it took just minutes for that intent to show. Eberechi Eze, in sensational form, opened the scoring with a composed finish after a brilliant team move carved through the Spurs defence.
Tottenham struggled to settle before Arsenal struck again. Eze doubled the lead with a curling effort from outside the box, sending the crowd into a frenzy and leaving Spurs goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
Arsenal’s momentum continued shortly after halftime as they forced an own goal from Tottenham while pushing aggressively on the counter. Though Spurs pulled one back through a well-taken effort, the comeback hopes were quickly extinguished.

Eze, unstoppable all afternoon, completed his hat-trick in the 78th minute with a sharp strike inside the area — his first Premier League treble and arguably one of the defining performances of Arsenal’s season so far.
With the victory, Arsenal now sit comfortably six points clear at the top of the table, while Tottenham’s inconsistent run continues to raise questions about their direction this season.
Mikel Arteta praised his side’s mentality and hailed Eze’s brilliance, calling the midfielder “a game-changer with world-class instincts.”
For Arsenal fans, it was a derby to remember — and perhaps a sign that the title charge is gathering real strength.
