Nigerian-born former world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois’ younger sister, Caroline Dubois, has been officially listed to compete on the same night Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua faces social media star–turned–boxer Jake Paul.
According to Sports247, the announcement comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Joshua’s decision to square up against Paul, a matchup many boxing fans continue to scrutinize. Caroline, a rising boxing talent with a Nigerian mother and a father from Grenada, will feature as part of the undercard before Joshua’s headline bout in Miami, USA, on December 19.

The revelation came from Paul himself, who confirmed that his promotional outfit, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), has signed Caroline Dubois for the event. She is scheduled to take on Italy’s Camila Panatta in what is expected to be an energetic and highly technical clash.
Despite growing speculation that the Joshua–Paul fight may be cancelled, Paul avoided addressing the rumours directly. Instead, he took to social media with a cryptic message that hinted at his strategic move in bringing Caroline onto the card. He wrote:
“All I want is a fair fight. Even the odds. Joshua brought in Usyk. So only right I bring in Dubois. Had to be done.”
With excitement building and uncertainty lingering, both fights are shaping up to draw significant global attention as the December 19 Miami card approaches.
