Democracy Day, an opportunity to renew faith in Nigeria- KEDCO
The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day Celebration, saying that the day presented opportunity for citizens to renew faith in Nigeria.
This was contained in a goodwill message signed and made available on Saturday by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, KEDCO’s Head of Corporate Communications.
While charging Nigerians to keep faith in the country, the Management said the Day presented an opportunity for citizens to deepen relations to foster greater love amongst Nigerians.
“This should be a reminder of the efforts that our founding fathers and heroes had exerted to build a country that we now have.”
In his message, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEDCO, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna said the day meant a lot to Nigerians in view of the role of democracy to our collective development as a nation.
Dr. Gwamna added “we must keep hope alive that Nigeria would be great no matter our present challenges, but we must have a common resolve to do the right thing in the interest of peace and societal harmony.”
