Reacting to the latest attack in Yankamaye village, Tsanyawa LGA — where bandits reportedly killed a woman and abducted three people on Saturday night — Senator Barau condemned the incident and called for immediate, decisive action.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, the Deputy Senate President appealed to security agencies operating in the affected axis to strengthen their offensive and “take the fight to the criminal elements infiltrating Kano from neighbouring states.”

He further urged the security operatives to ensure the safe rescue of the kidnapped victims and restore safety to the affected communities.
