DHQ debunks fake death publication on General Christopher Musa’s
The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has debunked a false publication circulating online alleging that the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, is dead.
This was contained in a press release signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, on Tuesday.

According to the statement, “This report is entirely fabricated and without merit.” General Musa is alive and well, and he has recently returned from an official assignment abroad.
He is currently back at work and continues to lead the Nigerian Armed Forces with his unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership.
The online publication responsible for this false report has since retracted the story and apologised to the CDS, his family, and the Nigerian Armed Forces.
We urge the general public to disregard this misinformation and refrain from sharing it further.
The DHQ remains committed to providing accurate and timely information to the Nigerian public.
