Eid-el-Fitri: Elerinmo Felicitates Muslims, Gov Adeleke

The Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa in Oriade Local Government area of Osun State, Oba. Dr. Michael Ajayi Odunayo, Arowotawaya II, has congratulated Muslims in Erinmo-Ijesa town, Osun State and Nigeria for the successful conclusion of this year’s fasting in the month of Ramadan.
Oba Arowotawaya noted that the grace given Muslims during the fasting period, which culminates in this year’s Eid-el-Fitri, is a renewal of the need to constantly show gratitude to Almighty Allah for His adequate provision, love and protection.
The Elerinmo in his Eid-el-Fitri congratulatory message made available to newsmen by the Elerinmo In Council Media Unit on Monday, rejoiced with Muslims all over the world as they join their counterparts globally to celebrate the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The distinguish traditional ruler who hosted Muslims in Erinmo to a tafsir prayers few days ago, admonished all Muslims to allow the lesson of the Ramadan period be their watchword in whatever they do while they must remain conscious of the lessons of the period and continue to put them into practice beyond this period.
Oba Arowotawaya in the message, congratulated Governor Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, his wives, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaiye as well as members of the state Executive Council on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitri.
The Elerinmo who prayed that, Almighty Allah will continue to lead Governor Adeleke and his team in piloting and transforming the state called on Muslims, Christians and traditional worshippers not to relent in praying for the government of the day.
The Monarch however enjoined the Muslim faithful not to see the conclusion of the Ramadan period as merry making alone but they should also look inward on how best they could support the renewed hope agenda of president Tinubu by being of help to the needy around them as a way of extending a sense of belonging to other under privileged people.
