The Governing Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), led by its Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, conducted an on-site inspection of Murtala Muhammed International Airport following the recent fire incident at the facility.

The inspection aimed to assess the situation firsthand, evaluate the response measures implemented, and ensure that adequate steps are being taken to prevent future occurrences.
During the visit, the Chairman also inspected ongoing work at the temporary terminal. He expressed satisfaction with the pace of progress and reiterated the Board’s commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and the timely completion of the facility.
The exercise underscores FAAN’s proactive approach in maintaining airport safety and ensuring uninterrupted services for passengers and stakeholders.
