Galaxy Backbone urges citizens to protect power, telecommunication infrastructures

Galaxy Backbone Limited has called on citizens to secure and preserve power and telecommunication infrastructures across the country.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Backbone Limited, Professor Muhammad Bello made the call during a Town Hall Meeting with the theme.

“Addressing Vandalisation of Power and Telecommunications Infrastructure” held at Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House Maiduguri, Borno State.
Abubakar, who was represented by the Executive Director Finance, Alhaji Adamu Umar Gokaru said the Company would critically look into the issue of securing Government data and ICT infrastructure across the country.
According to him, Galaxy Backbone has the mandate of providing network connectivity and infrastructure to Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDA’s) of the Federal Government, but the citizens share the responsibility of preserving the infrastructures even as they enjoy their benefits.
