Georgina Rodríguez has shared rare and intimate details about her relationship with football icon Cristiano Ronaldo following their engagement in August, marking a new chapter in their ten-year love story.
The 31-year-old influencer and model revealed that Ronaldo proposed with a dazzling engagement ring reportedly worth around £3.7 million. Speaking to Elle Spain, Rodríguez jokingly described the ring as “the least he could offer” after making her wait a decade to get engaged.

“It’s gorgeous,” she said. “It’s the least he could offer me after ten years of waiting. When he proposed, it was the last thing on my mind. It took me a long time to process the enormous stone he gave me.”
Rodríguez, who was born in Buenos Aires, reflected on the deep connection she felt with Ronaldo from the moment they met. “I can’t say I foresaw my destiny or knew that ten years later we’d have five children, but I did experience an inexplicable feeling,” she explained. “It was as if our souls spoke to each other before our eyes even met.”
The couple share two daughters, Alana, eight, and Bella, four, while Rodríguez has also played a key role in raising Ronaldo’s other children — Cristiano Jr, 15, and twins Mateo and Eva, eight.
Ronaldo also recently opened up about the proposal during an interview with Piers Morgan, revealing that the moment was inspired by his children. “Gio asked me for a ring to offer her. It was her dream to have a good stone,” he said. “My two girls came in and said, ‘You are going to give the ring to Mummy and you are going to be married.’ And I knew it was right.”
The Portuguese star added that timing was everything. “Things come at the right time. Sometimes you need time to realise,” he said. “I’m going to propose to her because it is the moment — not only because she is the mother of my kids, but because she is the love of my life.”
