The announcement, made in a statement by the magazine’s Publisher, Dr. M.S. Abubakar, revealed that Governor Bago’s nomination was unanimously approved by the Editorial Board and the Nomination and Selection Committee, chaired by Sir Dr. Ak Etta Peters. The committee commended Bago for his visionary leadership and significant achievements in critical sectors, which have elevated Niger State’s profile on the national stage.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 30, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel. It will be chaired by Alhaji Abdulmutallab Umar, CON, a highly respected figure in Nigerian society.
