Jubilation as Senator Oyewumi donates transformers to towns under Osun West Senatorial District

There was jubilation among the constituents as Senator Lere Oyewumi representing Osun West Senatorial District in the discharge of another social responsibility and to support electrification installed additional transformers in some towns under his Senatorial District.

Senator Oyewumi, has continued his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents by installing additional new transformers in various communities through his “Light Up Osun West” initiative.

The project aims to address the long-standing issue of inadequate electricity supply in the region, ultimately improving the quality of life for all residents.

The installation of new transformers in Ikoyi, Wasinmi, Dede Village, Gbongan, Gbanko Community in Ejigbo, and Mowarao Village in the Ola-Oluwa local government area of Osun West Senatorial District will bring much-needed power to homes and businesses.

“This is a dream come true, said Alhaji Tajudeen, a resident of Ejigbo. We used to struggle with darkness for hours every day. Now, our children can study at night, and we can work from home without worrying about power outages.”

Senator Oyewumi who is currently the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, has pledged to continue the “Light Up Osun West” initiative, with plans to install more transformers.

He encourages residents to participate in the project by providing feedback and suggestions.

According to Ikire born politician, “This initiative is a testament to my commitment to the development of Osun West and my dedication to improving the lives of entire constituents”.

The communities expressed their gratitude and continued support for Senator Oyewumi’s dedication to the development of Osun West.
