Jumma’at Dialogue with Barr. Dalung
JUMA’AT DIALOGUE
How I wish when I am no more people will be honest to do me justice by repeating exactly the bad things they have been saying about me when I am alive at my funeral. I am always disgusted whenever I attend funeral ceremony because of the level of hypocrisy been displayed.
What will not give me peace in my grave is for those who spent their energies disparaging my person either ignorantly or mischievous for whatever reason to assemble at my funeral singing praises that I was a good man. Please say exactly in your tribute what you were saying when I was alive.
My prayers always is for God to grant me the grace to forgive all those who might have offended me before I breath last so that they may make it good with their Creator whenever it will be their own time.
I know it as a truth that life is transient, I can only be remembered for how much love, care and peace I have been able to contribute to humanity and certainly not material accumulation.

When we acquire so much material things including what we don’t even need, do we know when we shall leave? A day after another is my attitude to life because I don’t have control over dc life.
Therefore, I strive always to overcome human shortcomings that work against my ability to do good, unfortunately, I have not been able to achieve my goals.
The way I think and act may not please many because our perceptions of life also differs. If we understand the purpose of our diversities, then we can appreciate God better. Make no mistake about it, God is the author of human differences.
Love means sacrificing everything for the betterment of others, while justice signify doing unto others what you want them to do for you and peace is the sum total of love and justice nurture by respect for one another.
We will not see God because of whether we are Christians, Muslims, traditionalists or atheists, but only by how much love we have shown to fellow human beings. What did we do to those in need? To me this is the meaning of faith in God, but not the drama we exhibit as been religious.
Those who know God will not hate or kill or deny other human beings the benefits of existence. Neither will they embark on acts that is humiliating to them, because God created us all equal.
My ambition in life is to please my Creator, in doing these, I realized I will have to displease people, I am sorry I can’t hep it. The only person, I may not forgive is the one that lie at my funeral because I will be no more to forgive him or her. Lord deny me anything but give me a loving heart. Love you all.
